Reports

One of NOWCC's core missions is to serve the public interest by developing reports, best practices, and information that help older workers contribute their skills to our nation's economy to run smoothly.

Graying and Still Growing

This report, developed by NOWCC in conjunction with the National Academy of Public Administration, identifies looming challenges to the federal workforce in light of aging demographics. Barriers to employment of older workers are identified, and action steps for meeting gathering challenges are outlined.

Older Workers Survey

This survey, carried out by the Society for Human Resource Managers, in cooperation with NOWCC and the Committee for Economic Development, provides insight into many of the issues surrounding older workers including recruiting and retaining older workers, working past traditional retirement age and dealing with possible worker shortages as boomers retire. In addition, the survey investigated myths about older workers.
